What does woke mean to you?

Can't say I'm a fan of Roger Waters music, or Pink Floyd, and I don't agree with his sort of pro-Russian stance but he should have a right to say what he wants and do what he wants if he doesn't actually break any laws. I'm sure he doesn't really give a shit how many tickets he sells and can afford to piss off a lot of people. We live in a world now where a minority have managed to take power by wielding the Press as a weapon against those who disagree with their ideologies and they know that, if the majority come to realise just how small that minority is they risk their 'causes' being knocked by into the stone age so the shout louder and louder in the hopes that it will cow those that threaten their little fantasy.

I'm not so sure about the Red Cross myself. Many years ago I had a chat with a member of the 51st Highland Division who was captured at Saint Valery and spent the rest of the war in POW camps and he said the one thing that he and his comrades were seriously grateful for was the Red Cross. The German Army honoured the Geneva convention and the POW's all got their Red Cross packages with clothes, books, cigarettes and food and they were better off than a lot of the ordinary German civilians they came into contact with and often traded their spare stuff with the civilians. By contrast the Russian POW's didn't have the support of the Red Cross as Russia didn't sign up to the Geneva convention and were in shit state by the time they were liberated.

Yep I have/will donate to Air Ambulance, Royal British Legion, and SSAFA. SSAFA were great helping my ex's father when he had to go into care due to dementia, as both he and his wife were ex Royal Navy. I've heard some people criticise RBL, but I have always donated and/or brought a poppy ever since I was a small child, and now it is almost tradition. Those are the only large charities I will support now, I used to donate to NSPCC, RSPCA and Battersea Dogs Home, but all either became too woke or political, so I stopped. I will also donate to smaller animal charities.

Both should be government funded. They shouldn't have to rely on charitable donations.
Especially not when we send millions of £'s abroad in foreign aid each year. Not to mention the £6m a day to house/feed illegal immigrant (& often criminal) scum.

Got stopped by a RBL chap this week, asking to do their lottery, poor bloke got a bollocking from the misses as I rang for some help a while ago and they never called me back. We had a laugh about it and obviously not the RBL blokes fault but I dont donate now not with the money they have banked and expensive offices in London, plus my aunt left them £43,000, so they've had my families share.

I said I was back to normal after my tantrums, I can't help it, it's always the first thing that comes [Cums] into my mind it's a disorder I tell you it's like those tests when you show someone something and say what's the first thing that comes to mind, mine is always filth,

I wonder how the CEO will get on at the next share holder's meeting 🤔

Wickes added to my boycott list, along with Budweiser, Gillette, L'Oréal, Coke, BBC, Sky, to name just a few. All these woke organisations need to go bust and disappear, and/or those responsible need to be fired for gross misconduct with no pension or severance pay, and possibly civil prosecutions for deliberate sabotage and malpractice 😡
