What have you done to your bike today....

Don't know what "ephermera", or "incunabula" mean, so googled em. From what I understand ot explanation, ephermera wasn't used int correct context, it doesn't seem to make sense.
Ephemera is strictly speaking printed matter but it can be used to describe stuff as inconsequential.
I have put on my half moon specs and I'm giving you *that* look over them 😁

Bike was failed on the plate ffs but they were happy with me making up a legal size one at work (not strictly legal as no supplier postcode etc) and dropping it off.
They can fuck off with a retest fee though

Got an advisory on the '02 Speed triple. Warped disc so...

If anybody sees a bargain pair in their online travels gimmie a heads up. Not remotely needed now so I've plenty time to find a good, new, low cost NON WAVY pair, job for the winter I think
You won't go far wrong with EBC discs.
It just so happens that the EBC UK head office is based in the centre of the known universe 😉

Remind me next week & I'll ask a mate what a pair would cost after his staff discount.

Pair of EBCs on eBay are 225, I could wear that but would rather not if you get my drift ;)
I'll give him a bell next week Chas but please don't hold your breath for a bargain.
Often Ebay are cheaper for bike brakes & my local auto factor or carparts4less can be cheaper for car brakes.
I find that bizarre but maybe if the truth was known, my mate is only passing on some of his staff discount?

As you've found them on Ebay. Do you have the part number/product code?

I put the nice shiny versys cover on the front brake reservoir..
It looked kinda low and dirty so I replaced and topped it up and all seemed well...However after a pit stop for coffee I noticed a damp patch and a droplet of brake fluid where it should not be...Screenshot_20210801-123031_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20210801-122958_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20210801-123044_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20210801-123057_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20210801-123106_Gallery.jpg

I've removed a load of brake fluid so it now looks dangerously low again to me but I'm guessing that's how its supposed to be...

Approx halfway up the sight glass is normal mate.
Where's the level when the bike is bolt upright without you sat on it?
And did you transfer the rubber/plastic diaphragm over from the original cap? Assuming there was one under the original cap?
