Sarky B’stard

Legendary Knight
A general observation and I have ground my teeth about it before but…… of the bikes that whizz down the A701 past me (variously accelerating or downshifting according to direction of travel) are maybe 35-40% non OEM exhausts.

To amplify Billy’s point, it is painfully obvious virtually none have been properly tuned for their new can because the popping, banging and hesitation says so. They are irritatingly and needlessly noisy - the odd one up to bleeding ear standards. They remind me of the motley collection of bangers to be found at the back of the grid and then parked round the circuit as the race progresses.

I know from locals how offensive they find them and it’s always noise not speed they most complain of. Silencers make good neighbours. People have been killed for being a total PITA to their neighbours static running…… but, mostly, get some mechanical sympathy for the bike. At best you are wasting fuel and losing performance but you can cause expensive mechanical damage. You deserve to!

I am more concerned with the amount of senile old buggers driving in the middle of the road or completely on my side of the road in the opposite direction...and not one has a flat cap or a bloody Morris Minor anymore...yet they get away with it constantly..sod the sympathy it's a dog eat dog world now,

He's spent a fortune on that mate, rottweiler air box is 560 on its own, I'd wouldn't take less than 12500, if it was mine.

Offered him 11500
What's it up for mate?
Exhaust neck end of 2k
Rottweiler kits about 900+
Pc5 450
All the other goodies are expensive, if he agrees to the money, you'll of getting a complete beast, just make sure it's been set up properly on a Dyno, base maps from dynojet aren't what the bikes capable of.
Lcr on YouTube had the same mods on his gen 1 and that thing was something like a 179bhp at the rear wheel.

He's asking on the FB page, someone said 11k, I messaged him, he's spent over £8k on it and wants £12k, so i offered him the £12k - if i sell mine for £5.5k, i will just get a bank loan for the £7k

His reply "it'll be good to go in July, haven't advertised it as it booked in for a service, 1 owner & all standard bits, socket for rear wheel, paddock stand & new chain & sprockets to go with it, won't be open to offers unfortunately, if not getting that il put back to standard & trade-in"
