How I've gone from an 8k budget to 12k is beyond me.
Easy done mate, you start looking with a figure in mind then get drawn in to the must have this or that culture, we have all done it.

If you want to keep the budget down go for a Gen 1, there really isn't a massive difference between that & Gen 2, if you can't live without a quick shifter then an aftermarket one is about £300 new. I wouldn't get overly hung up on miles covered either, as long as the service history is there, you got a private reg plate anyway so what does it matter whether it's mint 2016 or a 2019?

Try as I might I just cannot get with the program on this style of bike. My eye just thinks 'You ugly!' even if you are an awesome machine that does nought to brick wall in six tenths of a second.
Fugly machines, no doubt about that and the 765 street is far better looking.

I think you need to ride one pronto. i know it may be heretical but a newer Speed Triple is an outdated design that has modern stuff stuck on.

The 1200 is £15k OTR with no extras, way too expensive for me. I'm dying of boredom and cant ride for at least 2 months, killing me lol
