It's where all my Teuchter rellies reside! It's idyllic when it's not raining horizontally and the wind has eased sufficiently to permit you to stand up. I have holidayed there frequently since I was 6. There's a Mortimer & Whitehouse fishing episode that captures the N Uist weather a little more accurately! Best visited in late May/early June or early September - it's warm enough and the constant wind keeps the midges down. My theory is that they get blown to the mainland.
It is a bit darker "sky, Eau de nil" or Duck egg Blue/Green as it was used, but still looks a fun bike, are you thinking of buying it then marty?
