I was thinking it would be nice to meet people in this group. Would it be possible to have a get together next year, maybe meet in the midlands, not necessarily on bikes, and have a night out and stay overnight. If we look at spring summer it would give plenty of time to plan.

I will be intending to go to the International classic bike show in Stafford in April so would be happy to see anyone around the area

Stafford would be good, what date is the show. Sunday night accommodation is usually cheaper, this one is £58
