Aswell as everything else I've done to scarlet, I've decided to go balls out and get a igt filter and get rid of the air box.
Dyno and custom remap booked in for Thursday coming. 👹
Place your bets on what power she makes, the winner gets a meat free pie of your choice. 😂😂😂
With the amount of power they have anyway, it kind of begs the question .... Why?

BTW - Had a go on my mates Gen 2 as we swapped bikes for an hour or so while away, verdict was there is very little to choose between Gen 1 & 2 power wise at the top end, the riding position on mine is a bit more in it, than on it, the bars are higher, mine feels a little looser at the front (could be down to the steering damper) & it is definitely more raw off the bottom end than the Gen 2, but this could be down to the full evo system and quick action throttle, the rest of the differences are cosmetic.

I reckon yours may produce another 5 or 6 horsepower after the work, if the exhaust has had the cat removed, I am going with 176 rw bhp.

Cats removed, all euro 4 shit junked, 02 dongles pc5, werx end can.
I'm waiting on a rottweiler type filter coming in the post, should be here tomorrow, I'm gunna change the valocity stacks whilst I'm on.
The Dyno fella hasn't been back to me about tomorrow, so had to book it in again at another place for 2 weeks time.
Been given a base map for the filter, so I'll down load that once it's it's fitted, it should be somewhere near.

Nippy buddy, the induction roar is amazing, minimal throttle = alot of speed, 5th and 6th feel less held back.
When I say roar, it seems just as loud as the exhaust on full power.
Nice! I do like a decent bit of induction roar .

I put the baffle back in my exhaust for while we were away, I didn't really notice any difference in performance, the bike was quieter down the bottom end of the revs but still sounds awesome when getting a wriggle on! :)

I didn't fancy getting a pull far from home & being told I couldn't ride it until the baffle was fitted which is why I did it, but may just leave it in.

By the way, I had put it back to stock suspension settings prior to the trip, it was much more comfortable for the touring bits with luggage, but went 2 clicks of everything more for the scratching once there, still wants another 1 maybe 2 clicks to get it in full scratch mode but it's close enough for now.

I wished we lived closer billy, as I'd love you to have a blast of mine mate.

Glad you've found the right setting on your suspension 🙏🙏🙏 mines still in comfort, I just don't understand it tbh 🤣🤣🤣 as long at doesn't break my fillings I'm happy 😄

It's always interesting to get someone else's view when you have 'tweaked' a bike, I'd love a go!

3 different people rode mine whilst we was away, they all said it was bonkers from down low on the power, none of them really revved it hard to the top as they were concerned it wasn't their bike, I took the Gen 2 & did rev it hard, in my opinion there was little between them higher up but there definitely was down low.

When I looked at the dyno sheet I was expecting 170 plus bhp, as I thought they were that as standard, maybe just getting confused between crank & rear wheel power?

With an Evo system on like yours and the akro map, it will definitely be 170 bhp rwhp.
Unfortunately mines still running the original headers, can't justify 1600 for an exhaust.
