In 2019 when visiting a few motorcycles stores with a buddy looking for a bike (Not a Norton) we saw several virtually new Norton’s on sale as used models.
One shop in Yorkshire had 2 in the window.

Back in the summer of 2019 I was at a stunt show at CMC Motorcycles, just down the road from me. Got chatting to a bloke who was on a Commando just like the one pictured above.
He'd never paid that much money for a bike before, but decided to treat himself on his retirement.
He was so pissed off I could hardly believe it. Oil leaks, gearbox intermittently not selecting, and corrosion. This guy seemed fanatical about cleaning and polishing his bike too.
He said he'd been in touch with Norton many times, and was constantly fobbed off. It had completely robbed him of the joy of owning his dream bike.
One can only hope that things will be better in post Garner times.

I’ve been told the seat’s uncomfortable but not for me,strangely I like the look of the 650 Atlas.
I've a very narrow idea of what a 'motorbike' looks like, likely based on what they looked like when they first fired my imagination and I became a lifelong addict. I can see what you like in the Atlas. Wheels, engine and some shit to connect the two.

It’s a bit in yer face but my simple criteria, spoked wheels,no more than two cylinders.....that’s it.
I'm more flexible on cylinders :D.
But the ENGINE is the heart.
I've never tried an electric bike. I'll try to have an open mind but I don't like conventional bikes where I can't see the engine. And being an 'old dog' electric bikes have a power source. Not. An engine.
