Bugger, he’s the only one I likedWe're doomed, well in fact we're fucked I think. Of those currently tipped to contest the leadership I wouldn't pick a single one of them. I see the 'favourite' Wallace has ruled himself out, clearly a wise man.

You have to question the absolute level of ego required to put your name on the list at this precise moment. Let's take it as a given there's no notions of duty going on.As has Steve Baker
"FFS" there would be no stopping the gloating from BLM if this came about, could you imagine life under the dark side.

I doubt BLM would be that happy - I read some of her thinking and policy-wise, she's pretty traditional Conservative.

Will you stop it,........where's my sockI’m still fantasising about Priti Patel mud wrestling in a strap on
There is talk of a schism starting to appear in the Conservative party that may lead to breakoff parties. I don't think it'll go that far but there will be a *lot* of skeletons being aired to bite chunks out of the candidates. Javid's Non Dom status that he only relinquished on becoming a minister does not tally with his current piety. Zahawi has a red flag against him in HMRC and should have prevented him being appointed chancellor. Boris loyalists within Westminster and (more importantly) the press are going to remove lots from the spike.I see that some of the more senior Tories are now waking up and asking themselves "What the hell have we done?!" as they realise that, while Boris may have become somewhat of a lame duck and, in no small part because his own 'team' (perfidious lying scum the lot of them) worked hard to undermine him ever since he took office rather than supporting him and keeping him on the straight and narrow, without him they have nothing but sleekit lying scum that are more than likely to make the party unelectable come the next General Election to replace him with. This could well be the end of the Conservative party in politics if someone else gets something new together to contest their position as the party for the 'Conservative Briton'.
