I did wonder if you would pick up on that one @Flynnt20 Sadly I do believe it's true that, in the eyes of the rabid Braveheart mob, Wales is seen more as a distant cousin than a brother and slightly odd. I think partly it is due to the fact that a lot of the Braveheart mob are descendents of Irish catholic immigrants to Scotland and so consider themselves Irish and Scottish but not Welsh.

Myself I think that all who have dwelled in the lands of Britain for a while, should consider themselves brothers whether they are in the lands of Scotland, England, Ireland or Wales.

The problem is most of these nuggets don't even know their own history from 70% shared DNA to the religious Wars of the Three Kingdoms...... and that Wallace does indeed mean Welsh speaker so does even fit the imagined Celtic brotherhood. He more naturally sits with Taffies, Cornish & Breton French.

It's just cod history derived from the dressing up box and zero understanding of time, place & context. Hell's teeth, Irish gallowglasses were mostly Scots incomers with Viking blood who 'married' Colleen. The idea one mongrel is of superior lineage to another is for the birds.

The only certainty is that the SNP are as bent 😉 as they are inept.

For those who are concerned that voting for an alternative is a wasted vote, then take a look at the Farmers in the Netherlands...

I just hope come the next general election in the UK everyone has the courage and conviction to vote for something different, preferably Reform UK ;)

Agreed. The problem is that most sheeple like the "safety" of voting for something familiar. There is a worrying lack of courage come the day.

I honestly don't know who I'll vote for Scrappy.
Reform sound perfect but would a vote for them allow labour in via the backdoor?
The Tories have proved themselves to be c#nts. But when compared to a bunch of equally large c#nts with "far left" views. Maybe it's a case of better the devil you know? 🤔

We'll never achieve change while we think like that. Even if Labour do sneak in they'll just convince more people to be brave next time.

That's precisely what I have battled with for the last decade. Courage mes braves, vote for the party you want, not against the party you don't.

It can work, just look at recent history as the Italians and Dutch have proved it. Even if Reform UK didn't win the next election, then hopefully they could get enough MPs to make it very difficult for Labour to impose their madness, or take a significant proportion of the vote to make any ruling party change their ways, just like UKIP did with forcing the Tories to give us the EU in/out vote, and like the Brexit Party did to help force getting rid of Terresa May and her crap EU deal. If it was a close election and Reform won seats but didn't get a majority, then I would think the DUP would enter a coalition with Reform, as keeping NI in the UK under the same UK laws is one of Reform's top priorities.

If you don't vote for change, then you will never get it! And we may never get the chance again with globalised and ever increasing authoritarian governments 🤔.

It seems that the Labour party have realised that even their hardcore supporters think comrade Corbyn is a c#nt!
I know folk that have only ever voted labour but wouldn't do so if it meant Corbyn got elected...
