In the US, Nancy Pelosi apparently wants the national government to control future elections in the US, allowing anyone to request an absentee ballot and print off their own ballot paper at home... with absolutely no proof of identity required. WTF!!! o_O

Obviously she is not satisfied with the level of fraud in the last election

Maybe the supermarkets should be doing more to support the industry.
Apart from mussels,I very rarely see any shellfish, probably too high risk and needs trained staff.
The French and Spanish make our fish counters look like they’re run by amateurs in comparison.

Actually no. I served well over 30 yrs in the British Army. Support Scottish Rugby but more interested in good games than a flag. England football in World Cup (about the only time I watch) and Welsh and Irish on occasion. Rugby is about the only time I get mildly partisan amongst the Home Nations.

Two friends and former colleagues up here are very much the same. One’s loathing for the SNP would make you chuckle.

Just got my electoral confirmation for the 6 May Scottish Parliament election while hearing some Westminster commentator talking about the SNP being ‘expected to do well’. I am not getting that vibe up here. There seems to be a mood amongst unionists to use their 2nd list vote for Alliance 4 Unity (if not their 1st) which could see separatists as a parliamentary minority. Meanwhile the SNP is haemorrhaging members and may struggle to get their vote out as the War of the Fishes grinds on.

Anyone for cheese?

Just had mine as well, There is so much negative remarks about the SNP, and the underhanded ways of doing their utmost to a/ gain independence, b/ rejoin the EEC even to the extent of having the vast majority of Scottish civil servants working towards this goal and c/ the Alex Salmond fiasco.

Machine gun? You need to be more specific. Calibre, type, mount etc. M1911? Never used them.* The US retired theirs with cracking frames but .45 calibre pistols are inaccurate in most hands and barely more lethal than a 9mm. Besides you have more of a 7.65mm PPK vibe about you. Silencers are a movie myth. You mean a moderator? Why? Lack the stomach for a Sykes-Fairbairn? Grenades FFS? First you wanted quiet......
Can I suggest Call of Duty Black Ops? You stay warm & dry, no police or Special Branch interest and it’s much cheaper. The price & availability of ammunition means you would get far more fun too.

* as in ‘use’. I’ve fired them on a range.
