You have to marvel at the business model behind footie. Fundamentally it’s a cash cult.
All (almost?) your customers have been fooled into thinking they are shareholders because they faithfully associate themselves with the fate of the business, keep coming back to buy the product even when the quality isn’t there but you get to trouser all the profits and dividends. You see them taking selfies outside the factory and they advertise your brand for nothing, even paying exorbitant prices for the advertising materials.
No, can’t think of another business quite like it. And the way they can talk endlessly about such a very simple process.
