Apologies for an extended absence from the forum - been spending much of the last few months in hospital fighting off a number of infections in between half arsed attempts by the NHS to determine what type of pancreatic cancer has been eating me from the inside (waiting on the results of the third biopsy thus far, after several misdiagnoses).
Anyway on the lighter side of life, I bought a little Royal Enfield Classic 350 Signals since I have had to admit to myself I just don't have the physical strength any more to easily handle my Thunderbird Nightstorm (So if anyone is in the market for a lovely condition big parallel twin….).

She has already been decatted, and had a fuelX lite and a DNA filter kit installed, however I have splurged on a few bits and pieces I shall be treating her to…
Hagon Shocks
Hitchcocks stage 2 camshaft.
The piece de resistance however, is not yet on the Hitchcocks website, but I have been in direct communication with a lovely fella on the other side of the pond who has an engineering company and developed correctly engineered belt drive conversion kits for the Royal Enfield 650 Twins. I slung Robert a cheeky email about the Indian produced belt drive kits that do look a tadge on the ropey side and asked if he would ever be looking at doing a properly designed one for the 350 J platform Royal Enfields…. latest news is that they should be in the UK within a week or two!
Once I get the belt drive kit I shall be stripping her down and fitting all the bits in one go. My daughter will be inheriting the best Classic 350 out there once I finally hang up my cut.
