Is it significantly dearer than mainland Italy Tony?
Never been to the mainland mate. You can eat cheaply here if you search out the right places. Our hotel staff have been very helpful with recommendations.
But if you just head for the tourist centres prices are very high.
But it is lovely here, and wall to wall sunshine in October. And great people.
Although I did think their war hero monument in town was rather small!!
The book of French war hero's is smaller. But not by much!
