At nearly 5 grand it's about 2500 more than I gave for mine new in 1990.

One of the best bikes Kawasaki made that and the 750 version, my mate had one "That" is one very clean and by today's prices is a good buy for someone when you consider FS1E's can fetch £10.000

I saw a GT550 in Alexandria a couple of weeks ago, the first I have seen in a long, long time, a blue one. Despite being, blocky and chunky they were such a legend that I remember even one with over eighty thousand on the clocks and showing all it's miles going for a grand at the Motorcycle Auctions in Glasgow in the mid nineties. At five grand with so few miles on the clock I'd say that's a bargain compared to what folks pay for a decent Fizzie or Superdream.

On the serious side, the first dinosaur bone found in Scotland was found fairly close to there. That part of Skye is now well known for fossils, there's a beach covered in fossil dinosaur foot prints.
This was a good visit, Dugald Ross, was really interesting to talk to.
