We are governed by imbeciles, even a child could see the very great strategic importance of the Chagos Islands. But then to give away such a great asset and pay the recipients as well is absurd stupidity at the greatest level, We should never relinquish this territory, but if we did then we should give ownership to our greatest ally the US and they would most likely pay us handsomely, instead of us paying a friend of our adversary to take them from us. It is totally insane, and really demonstrates just how incompetent and IMO treacherous our current government is

Britain has conceded to pay up to 18 Million to have it taken off our hands, where the fuck is that money coming from when we are broke? of cause TAX and more TAX to pay for all these anti colonial give aways this government are hell bent on completing.

At home, I get SSP for 6 months and then if still not right ESA, I'll get regardless of the wife's earnings due to my contributions. I've applied for PIP as not going to be mobile for a while. But yes you right beyond the above because of wife's earnings I'll get fuck all. I'm sure Don will chuck me a tenner every now and then
