What ever the rights and wrongs I don't want British troops on the ground dying and being maimed for fuck all like in Iraq and Afghanistan. NATO pissed Putin off, from what I believe when the USSR broke up alot of promises have been broken. Again I've read Ukraine was attacking the Dombass region over 8 years ago. There's always two sides to a story we are aways being fed that Russia is enemy, they were on our side for two world wars, we have a bigger problem within our country. I'd rather the Army deal with that.

I agree that it isn't the UK's business to sort the situation out with Russia and Ukraine. Our military has been fucked over seven ways to Sunday anyway and isn't fit for the job now.

I must admit that I had hoped that Trump would be neutral and not seek to see America profit from the situation.

I agree Don but it's fuckin' sad I have spoken to and known a few Ukrainians over the years and they all seemed like really good guys. There are several companies in Ukraine run by military history enthusiasts who have produced great models and are still working despite the threat of missiles landing on the premises every day. One of the guys I had been in touch with years ago worked for a company called Roden and his box art is well known among fans of WWI models. In the first year of the invasion I was told that he was shot dead by a Russian soldier in front of his family when he walked out of his house after hearing commotion on the street. Senseless killing but I guess that a lot of that goes on in any war.
