It screws in to the shroud, but there is an adaptor supplied with the gun for others, but its internally threaded not external - Unless I'm not understanding what this is :unsure:

EDIT: So I got that a bit wrong, the barrel does also have a standard thread on the end, so I guess the adaptor is simply to use the gun without the moderator...

Yes, I do watch AAR (y) Andy is a big BSA fan.

I was thinking about maybe getting a decent gun later in the year, but I saw that Pellpax were selling the BSA R12 at £450 off for both walnut and laminate stock models. Both look fantastic, but as I'm a left handed shooter and the walnut only comes in a right handed stock, I got the laminate which is ambidextrous. Unsurprisingly there are now none left on the Pellpax site.
