The Empty Man, 2020, 2hrs and 17 minutes I'm not getting back...

Boring, pretentious crap. Premise is you blow into a bottle on a bridge, and day one, he's watching you, day two he's chasing you, and day three he kills you (or you off yourself)

There's a cult doing it... Long drawn out tale of a missing girl, in effect.

Don't waste your time.

"The Voices" on Rakuten TV

The thumbnail of the movie poster & the first 20 mins or so of the movie itself. Leads you to believe it's a comedy with talking animals. Very similar to that old Cats v Dogs movie.
It's probably best to stop watching at that point & turn off your telly! Cos it gets very dark indeed! 😳

However, I can still recommend it to @Big Sandy 😉
I forgot to say, yes. Very funny...but dark. I like the way the folk in the fridge are talking to him too. Though, to be fair, I get where he's coming from.

Couple I've watched recently and I have to grudgingly admit to enjoying are the Kevin Bacon series 'The Bondsman' ( A load of nonsense but fun nonsense) and NCIS Origins - Which I've watched the first three episodes and enjoyed.

On the other side I've been watching a lot of old British movies on 'Talking Movies' channel including one set in a fictional Scottish University called 'Skerryvore' with Charles Haughtry, Duncan McRae and a very young Ronnie Corbett though I have to admit they make me quite sad because they show a nation and a people before it was degraded and bastardised by every fucking parasite in the world including it's own fucking government.

I like the old films but like you it's sad seeing what a shit hole this country has become. I used to love the old war films like Dambusters 633 squadron etc but don't watch them now as it's depressing seeing what they sacrificed themselves for.

Obviously, I should have a sideline as a movie critic! 🤗

When I got to the "WTF am I watching?!?" stage of that movie.
You immediately sprang to mind Sandy! 😉 🤣

I gotta admit that a lot of movies leave me absolutely cold. The wife has a thing for Horrors and so in the last few days, I've sat through the 'Terrifier' series and Saw X to name a few and I've got to admit that I find them boring although I did find that the Serial Killer, undead, clown in the Terrifier movies was quite comical with his expressions and the 'gore' was so ridiculously unrealistic it made old Hammer Horrors seem brutal by comparison.

V for Vendetta - I had watched it years ago but largely forgotten it, watching it again now its almost prophetic and can be likened to many current events and our current government, Kwier Starlin could have modelled himself on "The Chancellor".

Nothing new to report watching wise. I tried watching the 2nd season if "The Last Of us", but just couldn't summon up any enthusiasm for it this time round. Enjoyed the first season too... Odd that.

Same with a Netflix thing called Sweet tooth. First season, yep, enjoyed it. Second season, can't be arsed with it.

I'm jaded. 🤣

I'm away back in the past watching Edgar Wallace Mystery hour, One Step Beyond, The Outer Limits, Twilight Zone (The original series) and even 'Out of Town' (One Step, Edgar Wallace and Out of Town are all on the Talking Pictures channel)- Christ what a difference watching Out of Town compared to now A gentle relaxing program from the 70's and 80's showing the way of life of ordinary white, indigenous country people hunting, fishing etc. in the countryside of the United Kingdom before the fuckin' Camel Jockey's invaded and started dragging us down to their filthy level.
