I watched the 2nd season of Star Trek Picard. Well. Thereā€™s 10 hours I wonā€™t get back. I also talked myself into paying for season 4 of Star Trek Discovery on prime. Similar result. Wonā€™t be paying for any more!

Been watching Last Of The Summer Wine. They aired it on gold from the first episodeā€¦. I was looking forward to the episode ā€œGetting Sam Homeā€ which is where a friend dies, and they steal his body and take him to lie in his mistresses house. When that originally aired, Dad was working as a funeral director, I remember how much the episode cracked him up. Of course, for some woke-ass reason they didnā€™t air it. So I bought the dvdā€¦

Coming to something when the program you are enjoying is actually 40+ years old, and itā€™s hugely better than anything else thatā€™s on, isnā€™t it?

Oh..I also watched Barnacle Bill, which we were discussing a while back. It was on twice over the last fortnight. Odd thatā€¦I must mention other films I want to see again, and see if the magic works!

They were free when they first aired on Pluto TV but there doesnā€™t seem to be any way to watch them again on there so you now have to buy them on Prime, which is why I havenā€™t watched them yet.

I donā€™t see myself as having a grasshopper mindā€¦.but Iā€™m really struggling to watch anything film or program wise currently. I think that has more to do with the shite thatā€™s being put on, rather than me. Least ways, I hope so.

That being saidā€¦thereā€™s fuck-all on!

Initially it seemed good, certainly to watch for freeā€¦but as it progressed it got steadily worse, less interesting, moreā€¦.well, meh. Certainly wouldnā€™t pay for it.

Not a film, but a series from the non PC age, in an era where the second world war was on recent memory.

Secret Army was the series that 'Allo 'Allo was based on. The sound is atrocious, but every episode no matter how incredulous was based on the experiences of people who lived that life.
