Your problem is that you are a deeply unconvincing misanthropist. Moreover, having lived in Germany, I am not sure the 'German side' exists. You are as varied as us lot. You have just got too used to apologising in modern times and trying too hard to please...... which is invariably annoying and bad for decision making!

Agreed, bloody good series.I've been binge watching the series Yellowstone, its like a modern day western with a hint of "Dallas" only instead of oil its ranches and cattle, set in Montana. I'm really enjoying it

I watched The Way, with Martin Sheen. About the pilgrim walk across Spain ( not going to attempt to spell it )
I was surprised, I actually quite enjoyed it. His son died on the walk (played by Martin Sheen's son) and he decides to complete the pilgrimage for him. Sad in bits, funny in bits ...no action though.

That must be based on the Santiago pilgrimage. Always fancied that walk actually, not for the spiritual stuff but it looks a nice route to wander.
I'll look out for the film, Sheen don't do a bad turn, one of those people you can rely on that if they're in the credits it'll be watchable.

I liked GoT and saw all of it but I've sacked off my 'NowTV' which gave access to Sky. I trust the nipple count was high and all the breasts suitably pert.Not a film but new series House of the Dragon first episode on HBO/Atlantic

Violence was suitably gratuitous and bloody though
And I will never look on Caesarian child birth as the ‘easy’ option again….
