I was thinking it was more of a diversionary tactic ..whilst the wokies are panicking and arguing over a policy announcement that won't happen, they can get skipping other things in under the radar.

It is a good way to shoot yourself in the foot before an election though, you have to admit. That's the yoof vote gone outta the window!

It seems that around 30 Labour MP's won't be standing for re election either, Something to do with it's going to be a difficult term to be an MP. seems like no arseholes in either Party are willing to actually do their job when it gets a bit difficult

I reckon all the political rats can sense there is something brewing and it may soon be a bad time to be an MP of any political side. I don't reckon Sunak wants to lose but he knows he's unlikely to win and he'd rather go out making empty promises that he can then swear that he would have kept rather than going down in the records as simply just about the worst Prime Minister ever to 'serve' (and I use the term extremely loosely) the UK. The Labour Party seem to be falling to bits now and I think that Neil Oliver (in that vid that Scrappy shared a while back) is pretty much on the money in saying that all the politicians, the Media and the Liberal chattering classes know that they have fucked up big style and they now don't have a fucking clue how to get out of the mess they have made. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them skedaddle abroad while their hides are still intact because, if it does all kick off, there will be folks hunting for them and they won't want to be giving them awards for their services to the UK!
