I love Kerry, it's full of mental. I had to get the generator case of my GSX 1100 welded up after 'doing a Duck' and losing the front in Tipperary on gravel on the way from Kerry to Dublin. Then my mate Russ beat me in the 'fucking idiot' challenge by pasting his Jota into a campervan in Wicklow. We straightened it enough to ride to the ferry but he had to train the bike home from Holyhead. The South is a lovely place and the locals are always friendly. We crossed to Belfast in 2018 and toured the Antrim coast, following the beaches and across Connemara around to Galway It was a fun trip, but nothing beats the Copper Coast road and Cork through to Kerry and round to Dingle.
If I went back and had half the adventures I'd be happy. I'll try to involve the Garda less as a 'mature rider'
