I know this will undoubtedly been seen as "Gay" 🤣
But it's a f#ckin amazing gadget!
I've just used one to cook something that said 190°c for 30-35mins. I set the temperature to 170°c & didn't preheat it. In 22 mins the food was ever so slightly over done.
My smart meter says it's using the same amount of electricity as the smaller of my two built-in ovens. But it cuts in and out way more often than a conventional oven. At only 170°c it was on for 10 secs then off for 10 secs for virtually the entire 22 mins.

I'm fully aware that it isn't black magic or rocket science. I know that effectively halogen ovens/fryers are just miniature convection (fan assisted) ovens. And as such they have less space to heat up, & that makes them more efficient. But the results were still very impressive! 🙂

Treat your Mrs to one. But don't say it's a Christmas gift unless you want sore balls! 😗

Funny you should say that...A young lady as been trying to teach me it's ok to have a hug...cor blimey chief...
Its very awkward and uncomfortable but I do enjoy the boner I sometimes get..
Apparently I'm missing the point of what a hug is supposed to be..I fucking hate hugs...
But I'm trying and can just about tolerate a hug from that young lady...she also taught me not to hate purple flowers and sexy purple underwear is ok on a bird..
I must be mellowing out with old age or maybe I see a hug as a step closer to smashing in this birds back doors 😇
Scrolling through this old thread, I found your post @BAD LUCK DUCK
Is the "Young lady" in question enjoying having her "Back doors smashed in"?

As I assume she's what was your w@nking fantasy when you were with Mrs Duck? And she's now potentially the new Mrs Duck aka the lovely Stacy 😃

Been undecided on an air fryer since they became a 'thing' - be interested to hear if you continue to use it a lot
I compared it with conventional air fryers from several angles Doc...

1) Size of cooking area (17L is massive in the world of regular design air fryers)
2) Speed of cooking (As with all halogen products, the heat is instant)
3) Cost to purchase (I think it was a bargain)
4) Cost to run (according to my smart meter. Cooking that meal last night only cost 16p)

Basically, it won hands down. Plus it comes with a 3yr warranty. And being glass you can see what's happening inside without having to open the drawer like you do with most air fryers. Therefore the heat doesn't escape.

Whilst watching a YouTube video on Tuesday evening an advert popped up for a fancy shower head. That turns any shower into a power shower. You could select different spray patterns at the flick of a switch etc etc. It looked great, apart from the price.
They were asking £35 allegedly down from £180. Obviously that RRP is a bullshit price. So I looked elsewhere online...

That is exactly the same feckin thing! The lower price is just the head. The higher price includes a hose & wall bracket. I paid £5.99 for the full set inc delivery & it arrived in under 36hrs.

My latest purchase is a Vacuum forming kit to vacuum/heat mould things for model making out of sheet plastic although I can see myself moulding other things out of it too like disposable plastic paint palettes, holders for stuff etc. Basically anything that could be formed out of a 0.25 - 2mm sheet of A4 or A5 plastic.
