A very well deserved win for Scotland. Their 3rd try was epic, a real text book manoeuvre! 😃
As this current win means 4 on the trot against England in the 6 Nations.
It would be impossible to describe that as "Lucky"
They definitely always up their game against the "Auld Enemy"
Healthy rivalry is always good in sport. I just wish the seemingly average Scotland fan at matches wouldn't whistle & loudly boo etc. Every time England have any chance of scoring a point from a kick etc. That just shows them up to be bitter & twisted, small minded tw@ts. A good friend of mine who's Scottish fits that description perfectly. He's also a rabid SNP supporter. So maybe I shouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised? 😉

Not to mention the "average Scotland fans" rabid support for any team playing England. Even if Scotland themselves left the competition several weeks prior. Or in the case of football, invariably didn't even qualify to begin with! 🙄

The 'average' Scot (clearly there is no such thing 🤭) is NOT an SNP supporter. It would be a bit like an insurgent Green Party in England consistently getting their noses in front on LibLabCon because of a PR voting system. However the SNP are now like the Greens after a healthy dose of paraquat!

I did say the average Scotland "fan" Sarky. Not the average Scot.
If you've ever watched any Scotland V England game you must have heard the whistling & booing. Yesterday was relatively quiet compared to some games I've watched. Makes me wonder if the BBC filter some of it out?

And my mate would genuinely support a team consisting of members of the IRA, Taliban & paedophiles if they were playing England. And even more so if Scotland had been knocked out of the competition several weeks prior.

I just find it extremely hard to fathom mate? My team didn't win yesterday but I still got to watch an excellent game of rugby. Certainly in the top three games of this 6 nations thus far.

I am not surprised you find it all so distressing and confusing but are you sure they're Scots? You see Ireland's best 3 appear to be Kiwis (Lowe, Gibson Park and an imported Samoan Aki) while Van der Flier is clearly a Scot if Clan Duhan Van der Merwe is any guide. And I'm not sure about Itoje. He looks suspiciously Scandinavian like that Feyi-Woboso. No Taliban that I saw. Certainly more entertaining than the Irish game. At least you're not Italian. Those Frenchies have twice had the rub of the green in this 6 Nations.

I watched both games, and had a bloody good afternoon's entertainment. If Ireland are, by all reckoning, the best team in the world then things are looking up for England. I thought the scoreline slightly flattered Ireland, and those highlights didn't even show England's disallowed try. I guess we'll see against France. Just hope Marcus Smith stays fit. He's got that little bit of magic that makes the difference.
And congratulations Italy. Never say die.

Watched it live on ITV. Good match, shame for Bath having a man sent off so early but it was the correct decision as the laws apply these days.
Pleased for Saints, and particularly happy to see Finn Russell on the losing side!

My predictions...

WEEK 1

France to beat Wales

Scotland to beat Italy (surely Scotland can't lose to them again! 🤣)

Ireland to beat England (unfortunately 😔)

WEEK 2

Wales to beat Italy.

England to beat France (but only by a tiny margin)

Ireland to absolutely batter Scotland. It'll look like a score from a darts match! 🤣

WEEK 3

Ireland to beat Wales

England to beat Scotland (The sweaties have had far too much luck against England recently) Might watch the game with the sound turned off? To avoid all the unsportsmanlike heckling every time England have a kick to take! 😡

France to beat Italy (but in an ideal world, both sets of cowardly b@stards will lose 😉)

WEEK 4

Ireland to beat France.

Scotland v Wales (I honestly don't know at this stage. I need to see Wales play a game or two)

England to beat Italy.

WEEK 5

Ireland to batter Italy (another darts match score 🤣)

England to beat Wales (but that might be just wishful thinking? 🤔)

France to beat Scotland (but only by a small margin)

Obviously all of the above has now hexed the entire 2025 Six Nations competition! None of my predictions will happen & Scotland or Italy will win with an undefeated grand slam! 😳 🤣
