I'd say that if questions are asked. Those with the appropriate skill set will reply Chas. That certainly seems to be the case with Triggers broom (aka Ducks bike)
We've got a good variety of skills onboard already.
@Freck & @smib know their way around electrickery .
@Scrappy & @BB3Lions are our technology gurus.
The rest seem to know the difference between a 10mm spanner & a 4lb lump hammer. As well as having some ability with electrics.
However, it might be an idea if any forum member has a useful skill they want to fess up to & are willing to share.

I got help/advice from a guy on TTF about how to deal with the council over a planning permission issue.
So the idea of a list of skills on the forum is a good one Chas.
And not just the obvious electrical/mechanical skills.

Aw bud I know exactly how you feel, at my old house I had a lathe, milling machine, mig welders and bike and a car ramp.
I made nearly a full engine’s worth of nuts and bolts for my B50 ss.

I would love to have space for a lathe and milling machine in particular here but it just ain't happening as I have used up just about all the available space already with my bikes, my mini gym and my woodworking tools. Got my wood lathe, band saw, mitre saw etc. but short on metalworking facilities apart from my wee welder.

Oh it's only recently that I have taken on the challenge that is wood. In the past the bloody stuff has always defeated me. I would measure, measure, measure, cut and the result would still be too feckin' short or the wrong angle etc. etc. so I decided that I was going to get some decent kit and take it on and see if I could beat it. I have always had a good relationship with metal and plastic and found them no problem to work with but wood is an awkward cur. Had more success than I imagined I would. Built a sturdy shelving unit for all my power tools and suchlike, couple of basic boxes to hold stuff and a stool for the mancave and even managed to not make it all wonky!

My current wood lathe is a wee thing from a company called Scheppach DM600 Vario Woodturning Lathe – SCHEPPACH DIRECT It is actually rather nifty in that it is variable speed simply by turning the knob and has a good length and diameter capacity. Remarkably good to use given how little it cost. Only thing is I could do with a chuck and a tapered tailstock chuck to fit it for gripping hardwood and drilling etc.
