Panic over as I searched my emails and discovered a copy of TuneECU for Windows in there that I'd sent, along with a custom map to someone else so I just downloaded the files back onto my system.
What has been happening a few times on a run out today and once or twice since getting the Daytona MOT'd is that, when pulling in the clutch and dropping the revs while changing down the bike has just conked out and needed a prod on the starter to come back to life again. It seems to me that the IACV valve, notorious on 955i's isn't picking opening quick enough or needs tweaked in one way or another and, because of this, when I close the throttle the valve isn't opening to allow air to bypass the throttles and keep the engine idling. Plugging her in to Tune ECU I found that, while the IACV was set at zero the idle fuelling was set at minus 5 so I've bumped the idle fuelling up to plus one to see if that sorts things out and I also told the software to reset the IACV. Not been out on her to see if that has remedied things yet but maybe tomorrow I take her out and, if it isn't sorted I'll try tweaking it a little more. It's bloody annoying as the IACV motor is a brand new one that I plugged in maybe three or four hundred miles ago.
