I fitted a safestart to my 2003 Bonnie just for peace of mind, My brother has a 2013 865 the 865's have a stronger "reshaped" case, But there must have been a couple of damaged 865's as well because TTP do the safestart for them as well now. As for lights on /lights off .. I used to think it helped but now every car on the planet seems to run with DRL's or headlights on, So bikes have become invisible again.

I also fitted a TTP SafeStart to my old 2007 Bonnie, just for peace of mind.

The 650 strip down saga continues,
Engine is completely apart... removed the sludge tube from the crank only to find very little shit in there (so someone has done it at some point) but this was the one thing that would have worried me if we didn't do it, so peace of mind at least. Let the re-assembly commence,

Confession time .......

I'm shitting myself about the total cost of doing this 😫💩💩

The fact you managed to undo it speaks volumes, sometimes those things require some serious work to remove them and a bonus it was clean,

"Amended for you" if you are lucky you will only need to sell one Kidney, if not it's REMORGAGE

Having overhauled my old 650 and rewired her, apart from the braking she was IMHO as good as a T140, I would ride from Stafford to Harlech me on my T120 and my pal on his T140 and the sod couldn't catch me the T120 was better balanced and the older Anal carbs were better than the MK2 concentric's, There is a famous stretch of road from the bottom of Harlech [low town] to the castle [High town] 1 in 3, 1 in 4, 1 in 3 tight curves all the way up [or down] and she could fly up there from a standing start,......ahhh good old days

Ach that's kidstuff compared to around my neck of the woods. Both roads into my village have numerous, steep, and tight bends, one is a steep, almost 180 degree, hairpin and a number of others are ninety degree. When traffic transfers to the Old Military Road at the Rest and Be Thankful there is a steep, tight hill climb there too. I love these roads but they seem to absolutely terrify a lot of people.

Hey guys, anyone got a copy of the old Tune ECU for Windows in their files? My Daytona is playing up with it's idle valve again and I've just discovered that I lost my copy of the program when I had to reformat my laptop a while ago.
