I have a feeling this winter is gonna be like the Ice Age. Christ it's been ten years since we had a proper 'serious' winter but I suspect this one will be a corker if you like ice and snow. Maybe Triumph should bring out a Skidoo.

Oh I do like a good spot of snow! Coupla feet would be nice and I wouldn't mind seeing the occasional avalanche (from a distance of course). Being snowed in, while the relatives are snowed out, would make an ideal situation for Christmas too. I have a pair of hybrid off-road tyres sitting in the shed I could throw on my blue Bonnie too. I wonder if I could stick ice spikes on the outside of them

Ran down to the coast today to get some fish off the boats. Got some cod, skate and plaice as it looked good and some of the haddock they smoke themselves. The huss (dogfish) looked good, off big fishes but I was out of freezer space.
Cod was cooked tonight as fish and chips, tails in the freezer to join the haddock tails later for a fish pie.
I've eaten well today and it's something I never take for granted.
So a good day

Off to Skeggy for 3 nights. It's the TOMCC Trifest. Live music and real ale every night, brerwery trip and bike show. Going with the missus and 2 other couples. Fry up breakfast in 1 hour!
