To me it about a bunch of intolerant,poorly informed wankers attempting to alter history so as to conform to their own narrow minded narrative.

I generally agree with what you wrote @Holy Shit but I also think that it's a sort of competition amongst a certain percentage of the global population to be what they think of as the most virtuous and, if they are lucky they will become sort of famous superheroes for their new order where everything that was once considered evil like perversion, drugs, gambling, paedophilia etc. will be the norm and those who disagree in any way will be ostracised from society.
The other day I saw a guy post a pic on a Triumph facebook page of his 'Steve McQueen' style Bonnie with a Stahlhelm perched on the rack thingie of his single seat conversion and folk (generally with rainbows over their profile pics) were falling over themselves to post vomit, swear and shock emoji's and comments like "Surely you don't ride with a Swastika bike helmet!" "what a symbol to possess at a time like this!" etc. in response. Clearly they had no idea that his bike was done up ala that famous Triumph owning actors part in a famous film about POW's trying to escape from a German camp. From his profile pics the guy was a re-enactor so likely has such things as Stahlhelms as part of his hobby.

Fundamentally it’s about being as Fagwoldcrashinglyboringupyourenderon self righteous and smug as you can think how without ever engaging your critical faculties. So, it’s about what to think (being a herded sheep) rather than how to think (an irritating goat that eats everything and spits 80% back out).

It's an anagram of Ewok.

Ewoks were a diminutive species of furry bipeds native to the forest moon of Endor. They were most notable for helping the Rebel Alliance defeat the forces of the Galactic Empire at the Battle of Endor, allowing the shield generator there to be destroyed, and in turn, the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station.

This seems unlikely. So it must just mean a tosser who must be seen to be virtuous, and perpetually offended on behalf of others.

What does it mean to be woke?
Woke was officially added into the dictionary in 2017 and it means to be awake to sensitive social issues, such as racism. The term ‘woke’ is at the centre of many of the fiercest political and cultural debates at the moment. Some people say being woke is a sign of awareness to social issues, others whip out the term as an insult.

I had to look this up as I don't have a fuggin clue what all this new world crap means, but as I am not a sensitive soul and don't give a toss about world issues I will wipe it from my mind and continue to be the arse I am, I am more content that way

LOL pre covid I used to have breakfast occasionally with Mike Edmonds, who played the Ewok Logray in Return of the Jedi. He was also one of the dwarves in Time Bandits (Og IIRC)

Pretty much what you guys said. Woke to me means shortsighted hypocritical assholes trying to twist the world to fit their narratives. They will preach and virtue-signal meanwhile behind peoples backs they will bitch and snipe. They are emotionally driven, not intellectually driven. Equality to them does not mean equality. Pointing out flaws in their agenda to them makes you a fascist/racist/nazi/misogynist in their opinions - yet the irony is that THEY are acting like the very thing they claim to be against, imposing their narratives on the world at every opportunity while anyone who disagrees with them is to be hated and vilified.
