What have you done to anything but your bike today?

I bought tickets and parking in advance. The tickets were £23 each and parking was £10.95.
Not sure of the ticket price on the door but parking was £17.95 on the day.

Just as a matter of interest , how much is admission and car park , I heard £27 and £19 to park surly my leg was being pulled

I'm sure @Scrappy told me it was more than that if paid for on the day.

Those were pre-event prices, but on the door its £31 and £17.95 parking. It's a rip off, especially when you consider how much it must cost the exhibitors for stands etc. The event organisers must do very nicely out of it.

I have it on good authority that the major manufacturers stands cost in excess of 1.5 million pounds.

Could you still get back in the Merc after that?
I was parked next to an RAC patrol van. When I went back to the car he was admiring it.
But he said..."Why are cars like this never owned by 20yr old sexy birds?"...

The cheeky little c#nt! 😒
But I did laugh, cos it's true 🤣

I did consider pretending to be outraged that he referred to women as "Birds" just for a laugh. But thought better of it in case I was taken seriously.
I didn't fancy my chances of escaping from a truck stop having been identified as a leftie! 😳

Replaced the fan belt on the Landy. Bought 5 gallons of 20/50 (cheaper that way) ready for the pre winter service, and they sent a gallon of 75/90 hypoid instead. So, quick phone call, and they resend the 20/50, and I get to keep the 75/90 (£25) which is ok for the T4 gearbox. Score.

I wanted to change the oils last weekend when it was dry...the oil finally arrived on Thursday, and now if course, it pissing down. Oh well, ready for the next dry day when I get time.

Checked and cleaned the brakes, oiled the springs, and checked the chassis over. New diesel filter, cleaned the air filter, added some more EP90 to the gearbox..... Busy couple hours!
