The AA:mad:

Been a member of the AA since 2019 and had a price for wife and I of £26 a month which was fine

Today they put the price up to £43 without telling me:mad:

So I call and complain and they offer £35 to which I reply that’s mad as your forcing me not to stay with you, they recheck prices and now I have full cover as before for £18 a month:eek::eek::eek:

If I hadn’t called I’d have been paying an unnecessary £25 a month too much:mad::mad:

Screwing loyal customers is a common business model these days - banks, insurance, ISPs, they all do it.

The bastards!

When I ring up and do the 'I ain't paying this' scene and get a new low quote, I always say 'Are you proud of yourselves preying on the elderly and vulnerable in this way?'

Don't make any difference, but it gives me a small sense of satisfaction.

That’s because big business no longer values but rather exploits loyalty. The thinking is you are unlikely to be loyal to them so screw the dummies and those too idle….I’m with Aleksandr.

Used to have a cravat just like that.

Mislaid it at some point in the 80s/90s.

Will keep me eye out for another in the local second hand shops.
