Trying to get a fair price for rear brake pads and possibly discs for the Duckmobile...
Most the sites I've searched say they got em but then it turns out they don't actually have the specific ones for my car and what they do have they are advertising falsely...
WANKERS....
Then when I find somewhere that does know what it's talking about they try to mix different makes of disc and pads and try to con you into thinking its x amount of pounds which is over the top but you know they got you by the bollox and then double the price....
WANKERS...
I need to go in person to one of these shops...see em try and con me then...
WANKERS 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🦆
I see that the Jaaaaaaag now has a years MOT.
I assume you got to the bottom of which type of rear pads it required.
Out of curiosity (as you didn't send me your VIN) was it the type with the rounded or square fitment?

Check your insurance documents just in case you've been driving around with insurance for a Kuga not a Jaaaaaaag.

I start and finish work in the dark..The weather as been atrocious up here and not suitable for raising a bonnet on a car...
I ordered some thst are apparently correct for my vehicle however it remains to be seen..
Until they get here and I get the old ones off I have no idea..50 50 chance of being correct..if they ain't I shall just order some other ones..
My patience with it ran out...
Even when giving my number plate people were unsure what brake pads to send so I'm just going for it...🦆

Which is the reason why I asked for your VIN number.
Hopefully you've ordered the correct type. If not, you'll only have yourself to blame Duck.

The VIN is on the V5 & very possibly also visable in the bottom corner of the windscreen as well. There's no need to lift the bonnet & go searching in the dark.

It's a bit bloody late now..They just got delivered to the new and improved Mrs Bad lady Duck who shall be assisting me in the fitting of brakes and discs whilst I teach her how to drain my excess fluid and pump me pedal until I'm all flushed through 😉😉😉😉👍🦆

I was gonna get the info direct from Jaaaaaaag via Mrs DD.
But there are car parts websites that offer a rudimentary form of VIN check.
Euro Car Parts is one of them.

Euro carports are normally pretty good but on this occasion they were being less than helpful...no matter which type I went for they said they might not fit so I decided fuck em...🦆

Use the website, not the retards on the phone.
In the instance of your rear pads. As you've discovered, there are 2 possible fitments. Input your reg number & this will pop up...

Close that pop up & go back to the main screen.
Then click on "Fitment Detail" & you'll see this (I've highlighted the area with 2 red dots)...

Compare the last 6 digits of you VIN with what's stated in the image above. If your vehicle isn't included within the stated VIN range. Then you require the other rear pads they are selling.
Hopefully that helps for future purchases.

Eicher, top quality Delhi innit mate...............
I didn't select Eicher, it must default to the cheapest?
Having said that, the only trouble I've ever had with Eicher pads. Is they can squeal under light braking. i.e. if you're gently coasting to a stop under very light braking. In normal circumstances & on non high performance super cars. They are perfectly fine Paul.
But buy Brembo or Bosch if that enables you to sleep better at night 😉

The story that went with this boiled my piss...How do your liberal hippy twats live with themselves and think these fucked up individuals are anything other than what they look..
Turns out it wasn't such a good idea to put these perverts in charge of a group of little kids after all..
But let's pretend it didn't happen and keep pushing this insanity onto people..
After all if anyone does find out they were a bunch of perverts we can always fall back on what a bunch of right wing bigots you are for pointing out the facts...
Wankers 🤬 🦆
