Why does it take longer to heal as you get older? I gave myself a right good bruise with a cut in the middle of it (okay, okay..I was carrying a gearbox, ok?) about two weeks ago. Damn bruise is still there and sore, and the cut is still cracking open and bleeding. Not septic, just leaking.
And, yeah...I have added a few more bruises since! Used to be a few days and they were going yellow, but they are staying blue for ages now. I know the skins elasticity goes as you get older, but I wasn't expecting this!

I was wondering the same recently @Big Sandy It seems that wounds take longer to heal for me too and I also notice that I seem to get scratches and bruises now for no reason that I know of. I guess that I also bruise and cut more easily too now.

And the fact that he goes to a private school means that he has been saving the state money by not going to a state school. Also the fact that he goes to a private school is no indication of the parents wealth (even though that should not be a criteria), as many parents go without in order to send their child to private school because the state schools are so crap and are failing the children So this is effectively a crude method of means testing access to the NHS, which is what the lefty w@nker Labour party have tried to accuse the Tories and Reform of wanting to do. Just as Labour were responsible for privatising elements of the NHS though contracts which saddled the NHS with massive debt, whilst they accused the Tories and now Reform of wanting to privatise the NHS
But I believe the real reason is because private schools are outside of the brainwashing propaganda agenda of government controlled state schools, filled with their lefty woke, useful idiot, teachers.
