"My" you have been busy, bike looks great
Hi DS.Nice work.
Reading between the lines, you've taken it off-road - what did you think of it?
DS
TBH that looks a cracker for that moneyBought this Himalayan in January, I agree not everyone's cup of tea but bought it as I don't want to wreck my 1290 R in the winter months. (and shitty potholed slurry filled Kernow roads!)
2020 Euro4 Spec "Lake Blue" with ABS. Bought the Adventure version with extras for a very reasonable £4899 Cornish pounds.....Ooooo....rrr.

Not a powerhouse 24.5 Bhp, but designed to travel most places without fuss.
Great I thought, cheap runaround, cheap to run........ not spending any money it, like we all do on addons. You know we all do!
C'mon you know its true, we've all done it!
Wrong!

Wrong.
LED Headlamp
Handlebar re-locator clamps
Booster plug
Ambient temp sensor extender cable
Mudguard raising spacers
Adjustable brake / clutch levers
Rear tyre hugger
Stainless oil cooler guard
Air injection delete kit ( I hate anything Euro4. EVAP unit is coming off as well)
GRMoto slip on exhaust. (My excuse it saves 3kg in weight over the stock can)
Antigravity Lithium battery ( I thought the box was empty.... it weighs feck all). Got one on the 1290 and it spins the motor feckin fast!

I must be mad, tooooo much time and ££££'s on my hands.
Err Indoors hasn't a clue about my bank account.
Boys and their toys eh?
Watch this space for the ongoing build!
Edit: The original panniers have been stored with the feckin topbox. What made me buy a TB, I'll never know
Nice stuff going on there, just wandering if there’s an adjustable side stand for a carbed Bonnie?Few more mods done to the Himmy.
Removed thin sump guard and dumped EVAP cannister system. Blocked off return tube to injector body. Motor now starts without choke and runs without stalling.

Fitted new 3mm thick sump guard and new Givi 3 point fixing crash guards. The crap Indian ones took a beating.

Fitted adjustable side stand. OEM one is way too long and unstable.

Tank off tomorrow and off with the rest of the Euro restrictive valve work. Also fitting booster plug and relocating temp sensor to the headstock!

Fuck me, I missed this. When I was talking to Tiff last night he was bemoaning how 'soft' the Himmy was. He's bought one for the missus who's just passed her test. I think between you and @smib I can get some advice to sharpen it a little. My Brother is developing a Himmy and interceptor 650.
