bikes Looking good @smib , just fitted a Booster plug to my Bonnie and she runs better without the jerky throttle pickup I will give it a longer run this week and see what other improvements are to be found
I think this little gizmo is well worth the £100 price, sorts out / overides the annoying Euro4 stranglehold!
Have read mixed reviews, but really works for the ultra simple RE engine(y)

Up to around 2500 miles since purchase in late January, and all is running well.
So decided to spend a bit more money on mods..... like you do!

DNA High performance air filter and high flow intake plate combo.
Fitting was easy (about 5 minutes) and must admit feels a good improvement.
Throttle pick up is better, starting is instant and ticks over
much better.

Pics below self explanatory!

Really enjoyed reading about what you've done with this bike.

What power do you think it's making now then?

DS
TBH the power gains are probably negligible? That will be improved once the warranty is up and I fit one of the after-market cams from Hitchcock

As this is my daily go to ride, I have tried to achieve a better running more responsive engine.
Dumping / removing anything to do with Euro 4 restrictions has helped greatly.
The "Booster Plug", and air filter mod makes it more enjoyable to ride.

Since moving to Cornwall a year ago, the bike has been invaluable in reaching beaches and coves that I wouldn't want to attempt in a car!
For a bike that tops out at around 70 mph, achieving over 2500 miles on the odo (in 8 months) has been great fun!

@smib is there much difference in Hitchcocks cam and the TEC one?

TBH I have an aversion to any thing made by TEC. Once fitted an exhaust made by TEC to a mates Bonneville. The welding looked like it had been done by a baboon on crack. The cams must be outsourced so may be OK. Will keep an eye on the forums for any issues.
Hitchcocks are an outstanding company to deal with, and as RE specialists would probably buy the cam through them👍

Then that's more than a good reason to go with Hitchcocks @smib, not tried any TEC bits myself usually purchase motone parts, was just wondering about them that's all

You'd really need to squint! That looks like something I ballsed up in the shed.

Need to replace the rear indicators. Both have fallen apart with the vibration of the 410 single.
The originals are crap injun.
Any recommendations. Bulbed or LED, not fussed either way as it has a solid state relay, so ballast resistors not needed
