Hi all,
I'm still here, very tired. 12 hour in theatre. Quite stressful so far so good, they seem pleased with how it's taken. They have to check there is a pulse on the skin flap with some sort of device every hour, it was every half hour, so you can imagine your holding your breath every time they do it. It's quite hard to find so been a few scary moments because no pulse then lower leg off. I've only one blood vessel left out of three which obviously makes things trickier. I'm not in any pain only having paracetamol but getting back on my feet is going be a slow process. Luckily I live in a bungalow so can go home when ready.
Staff been fantastic they work so hard. Thanks for thinking of me.
