I've been watching a couple of series on Paramount+, "The Mayor of Kingstown" and "Tulsa King", both contain some gratuitous violence and I'm really enjoying both. Season 1 of Mayor of Kingstown contains some woke bullshit in the prison classroom scenes, but thankfully they seem to have dropped that crap in season 2. Tulsa King stars Sylvester Stallone who I'm not a big fan of so I was a bit sceptical, but I think its actually good and worth watching.

Oh, I dunno @DD67 I enjoyed Hot Fuzz, which is the same sort of ilk (for the greater good) but Shaun of the dead just didn't hut the spot.

Even though this is 22yrs old, I'd never watched it. Whenever it was on telly at Christmas I was too busy eating & drinking.
It's a funny/feel good movie made even better if you're a dog or cat person? ...
