Well I would suggest putting a screw through the first knuckle from the inside to the outside and then grinding it to a short, slightly rounded point (don't want to rip things with the point) and that makes it very easy to gain 'emergency' access to motor vehicles in the event that the occupants need to be dragged out, for their own good of course!

Maybe I shouldn't have been thinking about how you'd actually do this (idle curiosity, natch) but I'd be concerned that this mod may bite your arse should you kak off and then drive the said modification back into your knuckle.
Not that anybody would consider such a thing, obv.

Well the point of the point is to focus a relatively small amount of force on an even smaller point therefore amplifying the effect of the impact and shattering the glass. That's why you can buy those quite lightweight little tools for your car with a little metal point meant to shatter the glass should you find yourself trapped inside a tin can or indeed wish to winkle the occupant of such a vessel out if it's shell. For extra safety of course you could use a bolt, break out the angle grinder and grind a nice point on it. Put it through the knuckle protector and fix in place with a washer and nut. Of course officer it's only there in case you ever come across an RTA and you need to free the occupants from their can.
