My old pressure washer died last time I tried washing the car, so I thought I'd try one of these. Not a great amount of pressure so should be ok to use on the bikes, I hope.
I've got one, and it's pretty good. Pressure is just right for bike washing, and we've even turned it right down and washed muddy dogs with it, attached to a bucket of warm water.

Lord! I never knew there was such a thing! Or a need for such a thing! I try not to even wash my bikes as I understand from TV that 'Patina' is the 'in thing'!

I've got a very similar blower to the one Judd has purchased (only mines not pink ;)). IMO they are a very good idea, as after washing a bike a lot of water sits in places that can't be reached with a chamois or towel, and even running the engine to temperature does not remove it, this sitting water can cause corrosion. It also removes water from electrical components and switch gear (if you blow across rather than directly at).

The pet blowers have heaters but any domestic vacuum that can be set to blow by shifting the hose will work. The metalwork quickly sucks the heat away anyway. It is amazing how quickly you can get a streak free (©️ Jez’s arse) finish. Particularly effective at drying rad matrices for oil and water.

Ah well you see @Scrappy if you didn't WASH your bike you wouldn't need a blower! If the dirt becomes too think you wipe some of it off with an oily rag and of course the oil from the rag then protects the finish. Gotta maintain the Patina! Of course if you really must 'blow' things you can always do the manly thing and use a big air compressor.

My OCD would never allow that

Patina in my book just means knackered, and is a subversive term used by some to flog other people crap 😜
