I've got a very similar blower to the one Judd has purchased (only mines not pink ). IMO they are a very good idea, as after washing a bike a lot of water sits in places that can't be reached with a chamois or towel, and even running the engine to temperature does not remove it, this sitting water can cause corrosion. It also removes water from electrical components and switch gear (if you blow across rather than directly at).
