No point rushing these things Chas, this particular planning stage could easily last 6 monthsSo you're going to wait 6 months to see if Scrappy's damper rods rust?
That’s really helpful thanks @Holy ShitSeriously, don’t bother with the Tec suspension, which I inherited,I bought YSS for the Bonnie with absolutely no regrets!
I "think" I have a set of YSS shocks for a modern Bonnie? Not sure if there's any difference between the shocks for a standard Bonnie & those for the T100?That’s really helpful thanks @Holy Shit
I think the Thruxtons are a different size to T100/T120I "think" I have a set of YSS shocks for a modern Bonnie? Not sure if there's any difference between the shocks for a standard Bonnie & those for the T100?

When I get home I'll dig them out & have a measure up.865 Bonnies:
SE std is 330mm but 340mm fits with imperceptible difference in ride height and caster angle.
Bonneville America/Speedmaster stock length: 320mm Standard/T100 Bonneville stock length: 340mm Thruxton & Scrambler stock length: 360mm
When I get home I'll dig them out & have a measure up.
@Public Enemy was talking about upgrading Annie's shocks.
FYI,my shocks are 350mm @ minimum adjustment,so they’ll adjust at least another + 20mm and together with progressive springs and emulators,it feels like it’s running on rails.I think the Thruxtons are a different size to T100/T120
thanks anyway
The Thruxton (water cooled) are 384mm as standard I think, sounds like I’m heading in the right direction though - running on rails is what I’m afterFYI,my shocks are 350mm @ minimum adjustment,so they’ll adjust at least another + 20mm and together with progressive springs and emulators,it feels like it’s running on rails.
