A very good friend of mine & a member of this fine forum. Has purchased himself a very cool toy recently.
However, he doesn't want to tell you guys in case some of you have an attack of the green eyed monster? 🤔
I told him that only the top tier of incredibly jealous/sad w@nkers wouldn't be happy for him. But he still wasn't convinced that some of you wouldn't be put out by his purchase 🤔

But f#ck it, I'm really pleased for him & I'm sure most of you guys will be as well 🙂

Not only a beautiful colour, but also one of the last normally aspirated flat 6 cylinder engines 😃

50 pence says it's @Capt. Drunkey.

And yes, I am a teeny bit jealous.

I like a bearded axe too.... 😁

There are 2 swords on Raven Forge site... The other is the Gallowglass. I rather fancy that too. But... £140 again. Sigh.

Got some leaf spring left over, might have to have a play with that. I made my own war hammer....

I suppose I'm being greedy really, I have 2 Katanas, a proper ww1 bayonet, an ex police cutlass, and several knives. But..... Years ago we were in Edinburgh Castle, and there was a Claymore leaning up against the wall behind the ropes with a sign "do not touch". There was a guide stood by, so I asked "how big would the guy who used that be?" he says "About your size" and hands it to me. I was in leathers, so must have made quite a, sight... Mrs Big Sandy was so gobsmacked she didn't think to take a photo.... Neither did I think to ask.... It was beautifully balanced though, be no effort to use, for a while at least.

There you have it!

Yes. ok: it was me… Really was not going to post this. Felt like bragging.
I was exchanging notes with Jez though, since he had a test-ride in one of the newer 4-Cyl Caymans and I was curious about his impression…
He did actually like the new version as well. But my heart was with the normally aspirated 6 cylinder and I found this pristine 2014 model at a Porsche dealership in Mannheim they also offer a warranty, that can be prolonged up to 15 years of the cars life. So if engine, or transmission fail in the next 7 years, it is on them.

I really do love the design of the car seen from behind;

Cheers, mates… 🙂

None of us were born with a silver spoon in our mouth.
Consequently, if we've worked our way to owning a nice car, bike, house, yacht or helicopter etc etc.
IMHO, we have no need to feel embarrassed about it.
The only folk that'll consider it to be "bragging". Aren't worth your breath to explain how you arrived at the point where you could afford such an awesome toy.

Very nice mate 😎. Life is too short, and can be very shit at times, so we have to spoil ourselves now and then 😉

Enjoy!! 😁

I brought one of these from Raven Forge, the dagger I think, as at the time the sword was out of stock, but I found one at The Knight Shop

You don't need to justify how you spend your money @Capt. Drunkey straight six rules, Turbo's just mean you are lacking cubic capacity, and just think of all the greeny's that will have heart attacks at your blatant refusal to buy lecky, "Long live internal combustion motors"
