What’s made you happy for a change

Well I am happy for a short while because I have now done a couple of hundred miles on the Daytona since swapping over the fuel pump assembly, putting the new map on and draining, flushing and refilling the cooling system and I seem to have eradicated the warnings I had been getting.

@Freck Would you happen to know if filling your tank until it can take no more can screw with the Fuel Level sensor? I had an Engine warning twice for the Fuel Level sensor and both times were after filling up right to the top.
Can’t say I’ve ever had any EML faults from the level sensor, and haven’t heard of any caused by filling up, sorry.

Sawney Bean and his family were a legendary group of Cannibals who actually are supposed to have lived in South Ayrshire in actual fact.

Just messing with you. There isn't anything much wrong with Dunoon apart from the fact that it has seen a lot of immigration from Glasgow over the years and isn't really 'Highland' any more. I don't go down there much myself as I simply rarely have reason to and I typically head round Loch Lomond way if I need to visit 'civilisation' for anything. One thing I will say about Dunoon is that, being a 'captive audience' apart from Supermarkets (There's a Co-Op and a Morrisons) a lot of the shops can be rather expensive but I don't imagine you will really be looking for tools, hardware or DIY supplies when you visit.

Thanks Marty, instant enlightenment as always. I'm not a "shopper" and luckily neither is the missus, unless she's out with our daughters. We are hoping to do some ferry trips around the islands as well as some exploration of the local mainland.
