Well having been made redundant in early December, and getting the state pension at the beginning of January I have been thoroughly fed up doing housework and cooking the evening meals, So today I just stuck my head in the door of a powder coating company ( who I new was struggling with labour)and asked the owner if he needed an old duffer to clean and prep the stuff prior to coating....he wants me in on Monday to talk hours and money ... there's life in the old dog yet 😁
Nice one HT! 👍
That'll keep you out of mischief for a while 🙂

This sounds great. But I won't hold my breath...

BBC News - Rishi Sunak vows to end asylum claims from small boat arrivals

If that policy is implemented. It "might" be enough to save the conservative government & get them re-elected?

I've always voted Conservative, but they won't get my vote. Even if they could win the next election it would only be a slightly less heavy foot on the accelerator to oblivion. The country and the British people need someone not on the WEF payroll, with brave policies, who really act in the best interest of the UK and its people, neither the Tories or Labour fit that criteria.

Instead of not voting there should be a box at the bottom with "none of the above" to tick, Maybe give the bastards something to think about when the results are read out.
I agree there out to be a 'None of the above option' and if that option gets the most votes then all candidates for that constituency have to stand down and be replaced by others.

Any party MP candidate should be chosen by members and/or constituents who should also have the ability to sack them at anytime if that MP is not performing or not representing their constituents correctly. Then the slimy self-serving bastards might be more inclined to do their job properly.

They wouldn't give a toss half ton, in years gone by both main parties had some decent MPs even if you didn't agree with them. In recent years the calibre of MPs has reached rock bottom from in it because they are from privileged backgrounds and can't do anything else to as thick as shit. None of them have any regard for this kingdom especially England.

No chance at all. We all know that it's simply a case of making out that they are going to do what the public wants but with no intention of actually doing it. In my opinion the current Conservative government are no different from the so-called opposition and a change of government won't actually change anything. Keir Starmer is simply the paler version of Sunak.

I hope you're wrong Marty. But I fear that you're right 🙄

Went out this morning with the missus for a junk shop mooch, not looking for owt in particular, I'll always have an eye out for 70s Seiko watches, bits of mil, vinyl etc. The missus does ceramics and glass and has a good eye for Tom.
Anyhoo, saw this..

Aero 3/⁴ length jacket with a 65 quid ticket.
I've got an Aero barnstormer jacket that was acquired at no cost so I know the brand. Even paid the ticket price for it because...

There's a bit of money in it 😁
