What’s made you happy for a change

This afternoon whilst I was refitting the charged batt to the speedie in a layby a couple of bikes stopped to check I was ok. An old school habit I thought had disappeared.

Mind you, back in the day I had highsided my XS500 into a hedge (that dates it) and watched a parade of bikes sail past. One was on a Hesketh. I'm sure karma got him in the end.

@Scrappy If you got 'Now to make my Getaway' The Complete compendium you really did get a bargain. I was just hunting to see if I could maybe find some more Ogri for myself as I just have a copy of the 'Everybody's favourite' book now (no idea where all my old books/booklets went) and I came a across the advert that was put out for the compendium. The first hundred, bound in leather and in a slipcase, numbered and signed by Paul Sample were £250 each, the next hundred bound in cloth in a slipcase and numbered from 101 upwards were £125 and the 'bog standard' edition was £85 a pop!

Sorting out the old Garden shed full of old bike stuff [and new stuff] as well as finding shit loads of bike parts [destined for e-bay or a flea market once things open up] I came across this fella a freebe from bike magazine it's amasing the crap one keeps over the years.

I've got one of those kicking about somewhere. There's a suction cup on the back.
I found that odd cos if you stuck it to a window the design would be inside & the plain side would look like some kinda odd shaped dildo! 🥴

Do your daughter's insist that their cake munching Dad stays in the car during their gymnastics sessions?
I bet the other Dads that don't weigh 25st are allowed inside 😉
Funny you should mention that mate, one goes to Hastings which is a 45 minute drive and the other to Lancing an hours drive so no point going home, and no ones allowed in the buildings because of COVID so sit in the car and eat cakes for 3 hours every Monday and Friday because everything’s still shut……

And I really really hate Gymnastics

I must be the only Dad putting on weight taking their kids to keep healthy:sneaky:🤪

I remember that malarkey only too well when the spawn were under the roof. It's a ballache.

Well, the Tracer was a bit disappointing for the two of us. It was OK solo, but there is a clash of feet due to the pillion foot rest position. Also, I kept shoeing the prop stand every time I went for my footpeg. The split dash is difficult to read and requires a positive head movement to view the rather small display. Yam should have updated the previous model's singlr screen with a larger version. It's comfortable enough and the engine/gearbox set up is sweet, but it's not for me I'm afraid. So a new T900 GT Pro is now on order, Can't effing wait!
