What’s made you happy for a change

Totally agree. One of the reasons I was happy moving out of East London was because it took to long to get to decent roads in Essex, but now those old NSLs are all 40s and full of traffic too.

I can even see the first signs of it starting to happen here now.

Lincolnshire beckons - that is nicely under-populated, albeit rather flat.

Lincolnshire is great, the wolds area is pretty, and house prices used to be amazing but have been increasing.

This is my old gaf, brought about 12 years ago for around £270k, shame circumstances did not allow me to stay there 🤔

Some folk say you can't call yourself a proper petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa.
I'm very happy to ignore that statement.

Everyone I know that has owned a 70's-90's Alfa. Has exactly the same story to tell. Mainly about the electrics that had a mind of their own. One mate had a model with a sunroof (can't recall if it was electric or manual?) & it used to jam open. But only when it was raining.
He could open it & close it 100 times without issue. But when he needed to close it because of rain. It would refuse to close every single time! 😳

Yet he still claimed to love it, & said its various/numerous faults were Italian "flair" & "character" 🥴

I brought mine when it was about 2 years old, low mileage. The cam belt broke within a couple of weeks, luckily covered by warranty, the ABS would stop working in heavy rain or snow (just when its needed), it would eat the front suspension bushes, and even had a replacement engine shortly before I got rid of it.

For once I got something to be happy about..😁😁😁😁😁😁
I know what your thinking..Must be a deadly virus that's wiping out all the commies but no it's not that although that would be the bestest news ever...
No it's actually motorbike insurance quotes that blew me put the water...

£149 with Swinton..

The only snag is they don't recognise my new postcode and I'm having to use the old one which is the barn annexe...

It's really weird cos car insurance quotes accept the new postcode but motorbike quotes with same comparison site don't..fuck it I'll just go with the old postcode for the ex missus Duck next door 🦆
