How did the mind feckin' scum sneak up on the world? One minute it seems that we were normal then all of a sudden everyone white became either a penitent working to put the white man in his place and enjoying every minute of flagellating their brothers and sisters of the white persuasion or an evil white supremacist who should be destroyed or, at the very least, 're-educated' to the new way of thinking and sex became a choice rather than the equipment you were born with. It's like every day is all fools day now and meanwhile that little rat Putin who should have been strangled at birth has now gotten the impression that the Western World has turned to shit (and it certainly looks that way) which makes him and Xi Xing Ping Pong Fuckin' Ball think the time is ripe for some empire building.

It may have started earlier, but I believe it really started to take hold in the late 90s when that evil b@stard Blair became PM. Their agenda may have initially just been to ensure that they stayed in power, and they allied themselves with whomever (no matter how sinister) would give them their votes, like certain religious groups and activist groups like stonewall.
However it could have been started by the Russians

He was in this country. But it was far more orchestrated than that. It seems to me, that pretty much every western country, was starting to adopt the same methods of indoctrination, at about the same time. Watching a TV program about what is and isn't acceptable in comedy ( called #cancelKarenDunbar) they showed a few sketches to an audience of...... Hmmm.... Mixed genders.
One got very upset about a sketch where Karen Dunbar says she has slept with a women, cos men are just shuts, and this woman is the best thing since sliced bread. Why Di the audience member get upset? Cos the woman KD slept with was a bloke in bad drag....
But the thing that gets me... Gender pronouns. Or, what they identify as. Like, pansexual, he/she. Bisexual, them/they....
I would have to give my pronouns as he/him.... You understand? My Mrs is she/her.
What bugs me is why they feel the need to force their pronouns on me! I don't need to know, their sexual proclivities are just that, theirs, not mine. And frankly, I don't bloody care what they get up to as long as they don't force it on me. Each to their own. And, therein lies the difference twixt 'them' and 'us'. They think we should care, and we don't! 'Notice me, notice me!'
That being said, the program was interesting, and funny too. If something of an eye opener. There was an interesting phrase put out there... The right to not be offended. Work that one out.... Karen Dunbar couldn't understand it, and nor could the comic script writer she was talking to...
I give up I think. It would seem that nowadays the safest option is just to keep yer mouth shut.

The thing is that 'it's not us it's them' in psychological terms. They are trying to convince themselves that they are 'accepted' and 'normal' but at the same time they want to be seen as 'special'. Same sex marriage, LGBTQ+ rights movements all trying to gain the same 'rights' and 'acceptance' as 'ordinary' people without the anonymity that 'normal' people enjoy/suffer. They will never win their battle with the world because the real battle is within their own heads.

where most of the population is in the middle ground with fewer and fewer at the edges the weirder you get. So, it turns out that it is entirely normal to have gay people in the population but being gay isn't normal; it's an outlying position.
When it comes to 'average' you have a similar problem. You can add your totals up and divide them by the number of totals to find an average but that's a middle line that doesn't cover most people who are either side of the line. Mathematically we distinguish the 'middle average' (the median being the absolute middle value) as the 'mean' but also have a 'mode' which is the most common grouping where the greatest population lies.
Consequently you end up with a standard deviation
