Dacia are part owned by Renault and use a load of their parts including DCI engines, the price of car parts is out of this world, look at a simple thing like an headlamp they can run into hundreds of pounds, not for me thanks

I remember when Dacia still used manual window winders. A great idea in my opinion. Much easier to only open the window 1/4" to let a bit of air in. No motor to fail, it saves weight etc etc.
But apparently the British car buying public didn't take such a pragmatic view of the situation

Daewoo did a similar thing in the 90's using older Vauxhall tooling. The cars were nothing to get excited about. But they were cheap, especially secondhand.

Erm I live close to the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire border, I'm white mid 50s, and I drive a BMW ...born in Kettering though, and apart for about 5 years lived all my life in Northamptonshire, does that excuse me?

I find the most problematic idiots usually drive Nissan Micras and the like, they are totally blinkered without any awareness of anything that is not 5 feet directly in front of them, they give way for nothing, they brake erratically and are likely to move in any direction (including reverse) at the most illogical inappropriate times or situations without a care for anything else... total fucking lunatics!
