Minus 14.6° here at the moment. My hand stuck to the gate handle this morning.

More snow overnight before it froze, but the road in hasn't been driven in yet, so it's not been compacted. Ordinarily I would go out and clear it before it does, but I don't need to be going anywhere, so fuck that. Nobody ever did it with me, have always cleared it on my own. This time it's tough if anybody wants to get out. Fuck them.

You know I would if you could ship it down to me. I don't mind a bit of the white stuff and it's damned rare in Southern Argyll. I think we had a couple of days when the mountains were properly white and one day when there was snow at sea level.

Found out at 0930 this morning that I look like gettin made redundant tomorrow or Friday. We knew t'building I maintain was gettin sold, but it's dragged on for months. I expected a few weeks notice, not 2 fuckin days!! Although I come wi t'building, there's a loophole int TUPE law, about buying commercial properties, so we've all bin given notice. T'maintenance company I work for dunt think they have enough work elsewhere to keep me, but I am gonna get some redundancy. I need to work cos of mi Grandson, so got to cobble a cv together, as I dint think I'd need one again!
